Sweden's Shining have announced that the title of their upcoming album will be 'Redefining Darkness'. It will be the controversial five-piece's eighth album to date, but the only Shining release to not preface its title with a number. Frontman Niklas Kvarforth explains:
 
"The use of numbers to describe their albums is no longer something that Shining is interested in doing. The new album is without a doubt the darkest thing I have ever done or heard. People will be upset for sure - and hopefully its divine genius will destroy the lives of thousands."
 
OK then. The record will be released in the UK on October 29th on Spinefarm.
